Community Outreach Specialist

South Florida | Broward County

The Community Outreach Specialist will provide public information, community outreach and event coordination support for our state agency clients. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a communications role working with government agencies. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Communications, Public Relations or Marketing preferred) OR 3+ years of equivalent experience. FDOT experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Collaborative, team player attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
